I think the actual figure is 635hp, but I might be wrong. ;)

Tourque figs should be able to peak at 650-700 nm ...that would make like 500 at no gas rpm :jlol:

Good for M5 clan to have had the fastest car for a while ...something tells me 579 hp is tooo much to handle for BMW :king:

This is a surprise, so they reckon the R8 at some stage with get the same engine that is going in to the next RS6.

Is this before or after the demise of Lamborghini, because such an engine in the R8 would spell the end for the need to keep Gallardo or any other model don't you think. :brag:

don't know ...but Audi usually doesn't rush the top of the line model to production ..so when the R8 hype has died down + one year maybe :hahahehe:

The article says that there will be an new automatic gearbox, 6-speed from ZF, that can handle over 1000 nm.

Still nothing about air-suspension etc.
