From what I have read in WFC, the new SAAB AWD system is way more advanced than Audi's Quattro drive and more along the lines of what we would all want the Quattro3 system to be like.

Check it out for yourselves.

As a swede one must love saab ...great with some real 4WD for the 280bhp V6 (from Haldex also Swedish) ...driving a fast saab use to be like driving horny rattlesnake with the worst tourqe stearing ever

quite OT, sorry guys, but when i was younger i used to chauffeur people around paris, and for special events as a students job... And boy was it fun, among many other cars, i once had a saab something, with a mighty powerfull engine up front, and front wheel drive, and boy was this car a heavy smoker, never ever ever took so much rubber off front tires over one week end, although i didn't like the way it handled, the front wheels would spin like crazy, and effortlessly... Just one of thos dumb things you with:

a. A car that is not yours
b. When you're in your 20's

Anyway, thanx for the link

Cheers

Charles

Well, Audi uses Haldex as well in some cars.

Welcome SAAB, to the world of 4WD. The world has been waiting...

Now that sounds a bit Catty to me.:hihi:

But seriously, does this not sound more advanced than is currently being used by Audi in their TT and A3 Quattros?
