Sounds promising ...
It will be interesting to see whether it can compete with the DSG box. However, it is indeed about time to let that SMG rest in peace!

I wouldn't be surprised if this new gearbox was better than the current DSG, after all the DSG in it's present form has been around for what five years or so, Audi and VW are currently developing new improved versions. I reckon when the new Audi A4 gets the new 7sp S-Tronic then is the time to compare like was like.
