Unbelievable... Feel sad for you poor Norwegians. But why not import one from Germany? That can't cost more than €200'000?

It will cost ALOT I think...

Because we have to pay some kind of fee for these factors:

per kW (RS6=alot)

per kg (RS6=alot)

for the engine size (ccm) (RS6=alot)

:( :vvangry:

When my local dealer first took my $1k deposit for this car, well over a year and a half ago, he was speculating, along with his sales manager, a base price in the $60-65k range. Now we have MSRP in the mid $80s, and reports of dealer trades surpassing six figures (US). And of course, a sell out is predicted, even as the revised A6 bodystyle is nearing release. I'm impressed...

All you guys can also feel sorry on behalf of the poor dannes. I Denmark all car are taxed with an additional 180 %. Wich makes it almost three times as exspencive as the same car i Germany. So a RS6 in Denmark cost just around 280.000$
!!

That's funny, because sometimes I've read articles (about new/used cars) were the author claims that if you go to Denmark (I live in Sweden) and import the car he referres to, then you can probably get it about €2000 cheaper there then you would in Sweden. Is that a lie or is it just certain cars?
PS. In Sweden, a RS 6 costs about €80.000.

You obviously need to read more than just the headline in an article... It is because you pay what the cars cost minus all taxes and VAT. And since cars in DK have 100+% tax manufacturera do everything they can to squeeze the price.

Slightly offended, I'll have to crawl to the cross. I guess I've been misinformed or misunderstood the information.
Also a friend of mine, who said that was the case just lied to me... Hm, I better get a chat with him.

Well don΄t get to happy now. Due to pricedebat, a new car will have to cast the same all over europe (minus taxes and VAT). So the carprices in Denmark will go up!!
