Delphi reckon their own software settings we improve the TT and EVO sample their efforts to see if it's true.

When Lotus had their fully active suspension in the Formula One championship (hydrolics would lift and lower the wheels), they had trouble generating grip b/c the suspension was so effecient, the standard F1 tyres didn't warm properly. The fully active suspension was soon banned by FIA, and we won't see it on road cars, but the Magntic dampers are pretty close in performance. I wonder if we'll see a similar tyre problems on cars with optimised Magnetic ride, and perhaps a line of custom tyres.

I also wonder how much it's gonna cost to replace those dampers. Not a good deal for the second hand market.

Well based on what Car companies charge for up-grading alloys, I doubt replacement will be an dearer than 30% of the option price of the full system, that would make a single shock costing £345. Now that not that bad in my opinion.
