Here is a cool movie :cool2: we made as a tribute to the Audi RS6 (11 Mb Windows Media) . :addict:

Guest artist invited: BMW M5. :hihi:

I'm using Windows MediaPlayer 8.00.00.4487 and it works fine.
(Check under 'Help' and 'About' in MediaPlayer to find your version amd update if needed)

Very nice Erik !
But one question:D ....there is a moment where the M5 and the RS6 both stand still and drag....my question is :) .....is the M5 giving full trottle?:confused: because if so the RS6 smokes it pretty good:addict: :D (at about 50 sec. in the video)

There's nothing fake with the movie. It's the owner who drives the M5 and he likes losing as little as anyone else.
It's not a perfect start - but then again it's a tribute to the RS 6 ;)
Pls. note clip nr 1 and nr 2 are different occasions. Nr 2 is from rolling start.

Both cars are on winter tyres and the temperature is low.

There will be more movies with the battle between the M5 and the RS6. Actually there is one online on the ftp already but we didn't promote it since everybody was complaining about real media. Kind of sad since it took me 1 day to finish it and the material is on another computer which I have not been able to access for a long time.
All these video standards are driving me crazy!
In the future we'll try to use Windows Media and mpg but getting the codec plug-in for Adobe Premiere is not for free.

MS MM2 will not do QT - gee wonder why?
But my goal is to start using Adobe Premiere but then again the codecs don't come for free.

If i am not mistaken, it is the Russian female duo, TaTu. I have their album in Russian, but I think that is one of the songs translated to English.

It lost something in the translation.

"tatu - not gonna get us" is the song.

I think it fit quite nicely since they're singing 'not gonna get us' which is exactly what the M5 doesn't do and then about empty roads and airfields which is what we used for the shoots.

Drivning the :s4addict: in a few hours. Can't wait!

Great Video!

The M5 driver is being a little 'rough' with that sentimental clutch though. :mad:

Although an entertaining video in a whole. Well done!

also, weird launch method for the RS6, in the earlier stages of the video. As if the driver was bouncing on and off the brakes, bunny hopping?

Actually it's me driving most of the time. Getting a quick start is usually done by pressing the brakes and revving to about 2000-2500 rpm and then just release and give full throttle. (If thats what you meant?)
