RS6 and new A8 spotted in Gainesville, FL!

A friend of mine spotted these 2 cars here, and snapped some pics- Only had 2 left on his camera though!

These are undoubtedly from the same testing facility in Tampa that we have discussed here before.

I have to say, the 9-spoke rims are growin' on me.

Note the Phaeton and the disguised Golf.

I wonder if they are trying to cover the Golf with the other cars?

I think that VW may be a Jetta Wagon, not positibe, though- The guy that took the pictures and was there didn't say anything about an interesting VW, and he is a BIG VW guy.

Help! - Eric, where do you see a Phaeton? And the VW is definitely a Jetta (Bora in Europe) Wagon.

3. Yes, I have driven some (90 q 20V, S2, A3, A4, A6, A8, TTR, A4 Cab...)
4. I'm Audi-crazy, as my wife puts it :cool2:!
5. It all started back in 1980. Maybe one of you can find out, what started my Audi-addiction.
6. Audi is the No.1 luxury brand in Austria :D , and they supposedly sold already more then 45 RS6 here, I have seen only one on the street yet .

I live in Gainesville and am also accustomed to seeing pre-release Audi's and VW's around. Wish I had seen the RS6, but the day afterwards, I saw 5 or 6 Touareggs heading south from Gainesville to Tampa, no doubt from the same location. If you notice in the picture of the VW, there are some lovebugs on my windshield, a biannual problem in this part of Florida. I pity the RS6 travelling from Tampa to Gainesville at this time of year.
