The green trim have to do with the 30th anniversary of Sportec AG.
But like said red or orange in my case will looked better.

The R8 V10 will have 500 hp ;)

If the R8 get a atmo 5.2 V10 FSI it will have 480 hp like the Porsche 997 Turbo, and when it get a detuned 5.0 V10 TFSI RS6 engine it will have 530 hp, just like the Gallardo Superleggera and Porsche 997 GT2.

Personally I thought a Bi-turbo version of the RS4 engine would have been a perfect choice as the engine in this form has been in use for quite a while in the form of the RS6 but no doubt a V10 is required in this sector as a V8 isn't cool enough.
I always thought there was an issue with heat and that is why it was to be a N/A engine.

Thats why the R8 5.0 V10 TFSI get wider side blades, to give the intercoolers, radiators and engine room more fresh air.

disagree iceman. as it is it took audi all it could to make the V8 engine cool off while preventing the exaggerated, unfluid intakes of the gallardo being put on. increasing the size of the vents would barely make it possible for a NA V10 to cool off.
look at the gallardo. it takes all those large vents to cool off THAT engine. and it is is NA. now try and imagine two turbos back there.

Porsche has dealt with this problem for more than 25years in their hi-performance 911 cars and now the new GT2 has 520hp with two turbos and a heck of a lot of heat. I would be surprised if Audi couldn't over-come similar issues in the R8.
I am not engineer but the basics of the Veyron are similar to the R8 and it has double the power and heat to deal with.
