Oil Leak?

That I had an oil leak but now with more careful looking I see this oil type of liquid is dripping from under the front wheel.Is this the dreaded DRC failure?

the DRC fluid is clear mineral oil....no odor.....it usually leaks when the car is being driven, but not at rest, thus no one with the prior DRC failure has ever seen any puddles.

I'm not positive of the engineering on the RS6, but the leak could be coming from a crack in a CV half-shaft boot. If this is the case, all of the "grease" could leak out and cause it to wear on itself. This has happened in platforms prior to the RS6 for sure, as it did with my Audi A6, but my problem did not occur until it was subject to some major unintentional stress. :doh:

Mike - not quite true about the puddles ... I found puddle first, below FL wheel on my garage floor, before any other sign of DRC failure.
