View Full Version : Is DRC different in new RS4 vs. our RS6?

I recall hearing or reading that the hydraulic fluid in our RS6 DRC system flows from one corner to another in an X pattern. For example, a sharp left turn would send fluid from left rear to right front, to firm up the front and help prevent roll. Right?

But I was just surfing audiusa.com and came across this subsection for the S and RS cars. If you need to, click on RS4, then technology, then wait for DRC on the left. Click it and a diagram should come up that shows the pattern of the DRC tubes in the RS4 to be different -- namely, parallel rathern than crossing:

Am I onto something here, or just not remembering right? Or maybe the tubes or lines shown are for something besides DRC? One would hope not, since the text is about DRC, but -- what do you guys think?

RS6, cross linked, driver's side front to passenger's side rear, and vice versa.
