No it didn't.

Yet another Alfa concept that didn't see the light of day! :noshake:

Although I must admit this isn't one of their best efforts so no great shame IMO!

Looks like one of those concepts from the 80s predicting what we would have been driving in the year 2000.

Good to see Alfa producing the 8C competizione. http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2006-Alfa-Romeo-8C-Competizione-Pre-Production.htm
That car is a certainly a hot looking motor. But at over £100,000 for an Alfa Romeo !!
Talk about Alfa running before they can walk.

Couldn't agree with you more Lateknight.

I know they are limiting the production numbers, but still £100K is crazy. Especially with Alfa depreciation!!!! :MTM:

And people were scoffing at the price of an R8....:lovl:

Don't be so sure, this could have been a great car I do have some info on it:
Mid engined 3 liter TT V6 with 400+ BHP , 367 footpunds of torque (if I spell it correctly I don't know) put in to an aluminum and carbon fiber body
with an all aluminum body, (with racing version on full carbon fiber body for extra lightness)
tips the scale of just over 1.3 tons
6 speed speeds formula 1 gear box (not floppy paddles)
0 - 100 KPH 3.7 sec
Top speed of over 300 KPH
fully independent suspension with one shock absorber for each unit for nimble handling

And I think it was ment to be out arround the year 1990+

And was the Lamborghini Cala ever got in to production??

Sadly the Cala was only a concept car - Lamborghinis own version of a little sister to their top model (Diablo at the time) before Audi got their hands on them if I remember correctly - a shame IMO

Sad Sad Sad.
The Cala really could have been a good car...
I hate concept car, half of them are not even going in to production :vgrumpy: .
