Does anyone know the specifications of the factory RS6 transmission fluid and its operating temperature range?

Also which MB in Vagcam show the temperature of the transmission fluid and other vital signs for the transmission?

SKIWI: Thanks what is the operating range of the ATF? And is there is any aftermarket fluid that can be used that can handle the job better?

don't have the spec to hand. if you have issues with the tranny, the 1st check should be for fluid level. to do this you require the trans at a min temp of 30c but no hotter than 45c. the vehicle must be absolutely level, and the level is checked by removing the drain plug. a few drops of oil out indicate normal level.

No issues just want to keep an eye on the trans fluid temps when we start modifications so we know when the transmissin start to "cook" th fluid. Will also be fitting a larger trans cooler behind the bonnet grill
