Just completed another RS4 with Ohlins/Stasis Motorsport suspension kit -

This is a great suspension for anyone who wants to upgrade and wants an awesome ride on the street..

Here are a few glamour shots.

I never get tired of looking at this car, damn it's beautiful.
I can't even appreciate 1/2 of the mods u ppl do 2 this car because I just can't get beyond the initial looks.

When I 1st bought my M3 I would sit in the garage & just stare at it for hours.I get the feeling I would sleep in the garage if I bought the RS4.

Ur car looks hot lowered or stock.nice colour 2.

very nice but quite a low ride. What about bumps ?

Looks great, are you running the Normal Street or the Agressive Street setup ?

Just curious as to the ride quality of both ?

Thanks,

I got to speak with Fabyrce at one of last year's World Speed Challenge races, very nice guy. The Ohlins suspension is tops, 1st class stuff.

wow,for me Ohlins is the best(better than Bilstein,I don't know how is Moton)!Which product did you install?Do you have also different anti-roll bars?

That's cool. If there is one thing the US RS4 needs improvement in, is the suspension. Way too soft, IMO. However, I agree with Fab, this particular car is sitting too low. I'd probably choose to keep the stock height.

No matter how many times i look at a RS4 B7, just can't stop thinkin what a BEAUTIFUL car it is!! Just don't get that feeling with the new M3..

I swore to myself that I was going to keep the RS4 stock after modding out my S3. And now you keep on tempting me around every corner!!!

No.

DRC is disconnected, central vavles and plumbing can be left on the car or removed.

(Ohlins on the back burner if my DRC fails again vs. Bilsteins)

Actually, Ben Bauer who has the full Ohlin set up on his S4 says the ride quality is better than his OEM suspension RS 6.

I keep seeing my car posted on all these sites!

The Car handles and rides better than stock. Also as important the stance is perfect.

One that you frequent to be so familiar? Again, why post gibberish on a automotive forum, don't you have better things to do?

Just an observation, nothing more. No need to get all butt hurt.

I like your car, and the Ohlins mod is very nice. We'll leave it at that.:)

the real question is does it worth it?
if it's more direct and sporty and you have the money, why not!

but for me i will keep it stock because i think the rs4 is enough sporty and fast for me

If you have to worry about the cost of the mod than you should always pass on it.

I knew I was doing it before I bought the car and figured it would be my only real mod as the car is just about perfect except for the suspension.

It was over 5K installed with balancing and spacers. Money well spent and I don't even think about it at this point as the car is now perfect.

It feels 500 pounds lighter and that is probably the best compliment.

That looks awesome mate !!!!
I loved the B5 shape but the B7 is something else.I was really disappointed when Audi didn't increase the HP on the B7 S4.What a shame.

do u guys know the website of Ohlins susp. kit?? ohh and whats the susp. height setting for the RS4 in the first picture??thx

Klint

As far as i know, the shocks are seperate to everything else, the Ohlins suspension kits are purely bespoke from the type of shock used (Remote res, internal res etc) to the type and weight rating of the springs.

From my understanding the ohlins shocks can accept different type of top mounts. (?)

Very nice set-up.
