that repair will take over a year and cost more than one each of all audi's models added together.

The problem is these BEASTS have such immensely high limits, that even a capable driver just won't realise how fast they are truely going! I am expecting much more of these kind of pics over the next couple of years...

reminds me when Bernd Pischetsrieder, former BMW president, crashed his McLaren F1.

Alas money can buy you many things, including a Bugatti Veyron.

One thing it can't buy is common sense and driving skills, these two come with experience but not always at the same time. As Ben said we can expect more of the same.

It could have happened to any of us. Without knowing the driver and circumstances, I wouldn't make any judgement. Pitty about the car.

ott,

I know and it wasn't meant directly at anyone but unfortunately what I did say is true, if I could afford one I would have it but that's not to say I could drive it to the car's capabilities.

BTW, that would be interesting to read - profile of average Veyron owner. They have sold 20 something - most of them probably to collections, where they never get driven...

I would bet that this is a press car, crashed by some lifestyle mag jounalist.:D

Are you sure it wasn't Richard Hammon, he's good at this sort of thing.:D

Bad joke, sorry.:noshake:

It's actually a business man's car who is in his early 40's. It was delivered only a week earlier by the same truck driver that picked up the smashed exotic!

It was doing 100mph in a 40 mph zone.....:nono:
