1939 Auto Union Type C grand prix racer

Does anyone know the outcome from Christies auction Feb. 17th that
had an original Auto Union type C racer for sale?

This car was found in Russia about ten years ago and restored. It was expected
to fetch 13 million dollars.

You are probably refering to this car (http://www.motormuzejs.lv/motormuzejs/pub/index.php?id=26). There is a short story, it was saved from scrapyard 31 years ago by one Latvian enthusiast. And it was restored 10 years ago. They have a copy of it in museum now, was part of the deal at the time.
