Received my O.CT'd ECU and TCU from Stratmosphere today. Beautiful sunny day in Tampa...and at 35F the coldest day of the winter...perfect for igniting fossil fuels :).
Results are as I expected - outstanding. Better/crisper shifts. Smoother, more linear power - and a hell of a lot more of it :). The thrust is phenomenal. I previously had a stage 2+ B5 S4, and the difference is comparable to chipped vs. stock on that car.
Removal and install was straightforward. The biggest challenges are working the the moulded carpet to get the TCU, and removing the tamper-proof bolts on the ECU. I used a drill and a screw removal bit (fyi I read elsewhere that you can also make a screwdriver-sized slot with a mallet and sharp chisel).
Thanks to Bob at Stratmosphere for the quick turnaround (returned it same day as received). I believe that the O.CT chip is both the most-used and least expensive out there with the recent price drop to $2000US.
