I would like to know if there are very big difference for the Sport button turned on or off, because i drove an E46 M3 (MT) yesterday and i tried pressng that button and it has a huge difference. I was thinking if there is a big difference too with the RS4:alig:

The Sport button on the RS4 opens the valves in the exhaust (to make it louder) and changes the throttle mapping (to make it sharper) - but DOESN'T increase the power (independent tests prove that).

In Greece tests prove 10 HP gain with sport button

KK265,

Do you have any links to such test results at all? Would love to see that.

Cheers,

The sports button on an e46 m3 is just sick. The first day my brother had his old e46 m3, we were on the hwy and the car already felt like a beast, but once we pressed the sports button it was as if the beast was on chains and now just busted loose and was free roaming. That button is very impressive on an e46 m3

Wow, very interesting. Thanks! Another thing that stood out to me in that article was how much they cost in Greece. $96,000 Euro? That's insane! I thought Switzerland was expensive!

Tests in the US & UK suggest 3-4 HP LOSS with the Sport button pressed!

Where did you buy your's Fab? I found the Audi dealers would only give 3% max discount, yet I found a dealer in Gland that gave me 7%. My friend and I bought 2 and take delivery this Friday!!! ;) Sorry to get off topic....
