I don't envy you having to clean that!

I was going to take my Convertible to work today, but couldn't stomach the cleaning of it on the weekend! :MTM:

Took the Leon instead and had some FWD fun in the snow! Pulled a nice-slow-motion handbrake turn into my car parking space (No cars on either side of course!). I wish we had more snow days in London!

Enjoy the snow while it lasts my fellow UK RS6.com'ers

Near the harbor of Antwerp;)

And thanks. You might know it from the '80s ski ramp commercial, that also was a CS quattro :) Great car, very rare, and with that lovely 5 cilinder!
it's a keeper for me.

little video (gentle start):

Nice footage :thumb: Amazing the grip it has

I have to remember your plate so I can say hi during my next appearance in Antwerp. :dig: Currently near Leuven...

Question: on your second vid called "testje", wat camera mount did you use? I just ordered one from the U.S. called cruisecam, which is to be mounted on the headrest.

Oh great, would be nice to see the RS6 and it's predecessor together :hihi: :thumb:

about the cam, I jammed the camera in the right rear head rest, and lowered the right front seat. Easy solution, but as you can hear, the headrest ticks a bit because of the camera's weight.

Just had a look at that 'cruisecam'. Looks like the perfect mount! Did you get the small or the large mount?

I ordered the small mount, but I've read on some forums that their delivery times can take up to 3 months for Europe, plus they were back-ordered.
Well, I got time, haven't got the summer tires on anyway :D

Shot another launch & driveby vid yesterday, think I passed the cam at about 220km/h, and as you can hear I kept pulling :dig:
Had to stop at about 260 km/h as there was a crossing coming up, oh my did the brakes suffer this weekend. :D

Thanks Steve!
In Spring/Summer I wanna try and do the same vid at about 300 km/h on a piece of deserted highway with someone filming from a bridge.

In any case when you find the time give us more footage of your classic audi, and especially of the sound :0:

Nice sound :music::music: , thanks for posting!

I love oldschool audis, my dreamcars are RS2 Avant and the Ur-Quattro. Timeless desing in my opinion. Too bad they are all quite expensive if you want a decent one, else I would buy me one as a second car.

I am in Belgium quite a lot, I don't know where you are living but if you want you can send me a PM and we can meet some time if you are not too far, go for a spin etc. Oh, you can write in Dutch :0: Imagine we can take some pictures of the my beast in combo with your oldschool beast :applause: Now that would be great.

Take care :race:

PM sent ;)

Nice that you also like the older Audi's :thumb:
Ur-quattro certainly is one of the most beautiful cars ever imo, but as you say, they are getting expensive. But still, as for the moment, my next step is an UrQ :love2:

greets!
