If a car does not have the navigation and I wanted to put the the euro LCD navigation, how much do you guys think that will cost as apposed to if I had the in dash navigation (US)? Anyone know how much the carbon fiber trim costs? Any good downpips or exhaust that make a difference?

Getting a Euro RNS-E will run you around $1500USD. There simply is no comparison between the caveman-esque OEM US RS6 Nav and the RNS-E. We are talking lightyears of seperation. I have an RNS-E, and it's worth every penny. Check out http://www.navplus.us

Carbon Fiber Trim is around $2000 if ordered piece-by-piece from the dealer.

Downpipes do make a difference, but are extremely hard to install. Stock exhaust piping is 2.5" so any aftermarket system will provide marginal gains (5% or so).

Thanks for the reply, just to clarify there is no difference if the car already has the navigation, ie do the two systems use the same GPS?? Who makes the downpips?

Art,

The US OEM navigation is a completely different system than the RNS-E. There is an RNS-E that is plug-and-play with our RS6, that was originally offered in the Euro-only RS6+. The firmware has to be updated to the US version, but the unit itself requires no modification. Again, refer to http://www.navplus.us

Dahlback, MTM, Sportec, etc all make downpipes.
