Well, I am sure it would have competed with the A3/S3 and would not make much sense. I did its job well as a concept car.

It sounds nonsense for making cars that will compete with other models ( from it's own brand, of course). British Leyland had that problem in the past, so that automobile empire fell.

Read somewhere else that design elements of the shooting brake concept will be used for the Audi A1, which is supposed to compete with the Mini as a lifestyle entry modell.
