I just got my monthly issue of European Car and there is an article on the MTM RS4 and it looks awesome. One thing i found weird was that it was supercharged with 540BHP and it did 0-60 in 3.9 Seconds????? Didn't Car and Driver also test a STOCK RS4 and have it do 0-60 in 4.3?? Also anyone know why MTM took at the beautiful Euro RS4 Recaros and put in some ugly Recaro racing seats?? Besides that the car has a awesome CF hood and CF trunk lid. Must be a real rocket.:rs4addict :rs4addict

It might not sound it, but a drop of 0.4sec is quite a big drop. Especially when you are talking of a standard car doing it in 4.3sec, but as there is quite a few tests showing a time of 4.6~4.7s, look that these times and it means that the MTM RS4 shaved just under a second off. A 0~100mph time will show a better comparison.

m3 owner, i will scan the article asap and MR USER in the article it states that the supercharger kit for the RS4 is 27,000 USD or about 21,000 EURO still want to get it. LOL

MTM has always been an expensive tuner. But so is Brabus or any other Benz tuner. Given that very small number of customers will go for it, they will pay the brunt of the R&D.

MTM has always been an expensive tuner. But so is Brabus or any other Benz tuner. Given that very small number of customers will go for it, they will pay the brunt of the R&D.

Agreed that MTM is an high end tuner. And it is because roland Mayer is a perfectionnist. R&D is an increasing budget because engines are more and more complicated. Just look who is selling kit for the newest S3 2,0l TFSI.....

For the RS4 V8 Kompressor Kit, it has been started a year ago. Thousands of kilometers on the dyno, on the autobahn have been already performed. Not to mention the cost of the car itself.

I haven't seen "european car" for sale in Sydney 4 a long time but I will try purchasing the March 2007 issue on line.

Sorry to say, but a well equipped stg3+/stg4 B5 S4 2.7T would still take a s/c'd RS4...and for a fraction of the price. (flame suit on) :)

There is a MTM tuner in Sydney but companies like APR offer cheaper & more powerful power up grades.I don't know just how relaible these upgrades are but I have seen more APR tuned VW'S & Audis then I have seen ones running around w/ MTM badges.
In Aus,that s/c kit will probably cost half as much as an RS4.

I wish Audi didn't drop the TT engine,I would have loved 2 have owned a TT B6-7 S4.
