As an Audi S driver since 1993, I have now ordered a 2007/2008 RS6 Avant ... does anyone have any further information.
My Audi history
1993 Audi S2 Coupe 230 bhp
1998 Audi S2 Avant
2000 Audi RS4 Avant
2003 - current - Audi RS6 Avant Daytona Grey / black leather / MTM brake upgrade / chip upgrade to 500 bhp - AWESOME turbine like power - currently 21k miles

Well, I do hope the Avant makes it to the US this time. I know you are in the UK, and you most definitely will get it.

Did the dealer not give you any, as you've 'ordered one?'
Did you pay a deposit? I personally wouldn't expect even a flutter of hard info on this regarding orders until the end of 2007 at the very least, with the first cars available mid-end 2008. It's all total guesswork, even down to what will make it go, and how fast. My experience of UK dealers is that they rely on guesswork like the rest of us and are usually one or two steps behind the likes of people on this forum.

I paid a deposit of £1500
No further technical spec was provided.
I have driven the RS4 Avant .. but too small
S8 too big ... so I know the RS6 Avant will be a 'perfet car' if the RS4 is anything to go on.

Man thats one sick car. My brother had the RS6 for a few months, it was the same color as yours. Daytona Grey with black leather. I'm curious to see what chip you have on yours, because I remember when he had the car I think a shop either in NY or Florida was claiming that they could chip it and push it up to 535-550hp. Nonetheless, please post some pics of your current RS6 I'd really love to see it. I posted some pics in the threads "modified s8" and "2003 s6 pictures."

Can I ask what dealer took your deposit? Think that's a bit naughty to be honest...
