just installed Movit brakes over the weekend :mech: , bedded pads and going to get rear aligned tomorrow morning.

Performace, specially in high speeds, is significantly better than stock ... scared me little because winter Dunlops do not hug the road as well as 19" summer wheels .. :addict:

Hi gig.
Congrats on your update/upgrade.
I'm always trying to learn something, but I can't understand your sentence. What do brakes have to do with performance? (unless your implying that your brake later thus gaining time).

just a thought, has anyone, rather than upgrading brakes, addressed brake cooling?

Well there's an old thread about using Phaeton disc brake air scoops on the RS6. Somewhere hereabouts... They fit with a little modding.

that would not help too much on stock RS6 brakes at autobahn speeds IMHO ....

perhaps...

but for the track, essential

My mechanic is taking care of my car now for the necessary 60.000km service. I've told him about the phaeton air scoops and he's looking into to it so I'll keep you guys posted. I absolutely wanna do something about that heat problem = squealing because when you've just beaten the crap out of someone in the city it is simply embarrasing...

Best regards
