The RS6 is a beautiful and high performance sedan, but after 4 years and 20,000 miles why are people still trying to get 74k for this car. Also last week there was a RS6 for 82k with 10k miles. They must be kidding. Any RS6 owners think this car is still worth that much.

I suppose you also have to take into account that the RS6 is more rare in America than in Europe? In any case 74K for a 20.000mile RS6 is alot, but not THAT exaggerated I think. IMHO it should be around 60-65K USD.

To provide perspective for our Euro friends, the US RS6 market has taken a nosedive in recent months. I bought my Misano beasty in May for ~$64k dollars with 36k miles. Today, that same car would be worth low-to-mid $50s.

I was recently thinking of selling the RS6 on a used 996TT, but I'd take a bath on the lease so I decided to hold a bit. Maybe next year.

My 2003 RS6 has 47k miles. I can purchase it for around 45K. It is valued around 48k. That is to give you guys a perspective of current prices.

I paid $50,000 (before tax) for mine two months ago as a certified pre owned from a dealer. It had 40,000 miles. Of course, it has already been in the shop twice since then, so maybe I should have bought a more expensive one!! Currently getting a new transmission (at least it is under warranty).

Great car, really flies on the twisting roads in the Santa Monica mountains around Los Angeles (when its running).

My RS6 in Avant Plus Black/Black style with all possible features and MTM-Power Kit with 550 PS and Vmax of 330 km/h is now 3 years old and has 69000 km. You can get it for 50 kEuro (new price 105k + 15k for MTM) and this is surely a price unter friends. The fun and adrenalin this car makes is still unpayable but you should drive it on germans highways.

Wolfi: 330 km/h??? What kit was placed on your RS6? As in my knowledge the only available kits are 500 / 508 / 535 or 568 PS.

You mentioned the new MTM-kits. My kit was placed at the end of 2003 in Paris. This kit is now replaced by the 568 Ps-kit.

You be in doubt with 330 km/h? It seams that you come from Luzern. This is not far away from Freiburg, Germany, where I life. So we can meet and you can have the real experience.

Wolfi thanks for clarifying.
But I suppose you mean 330 tacho km/h? I suppose that will be around 315 - 320 real km/h which seems more realistic to me. In any case it would be a pleasure to meet you, please see my thread http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10685

Best regards and all the best for 2007,

Well if it were up to me I'd say this 84 GTO

but the wife wants this minivan

...but you can't get that in the states....you can't even get a newer than 2003 eurovan for God's sake.

So we'll probably get an Odyssey (what a loser....I know). I'll have to pimp it out like this before I get caught driving it!

eh...we'll see.

I have less than 20K miles so if I don't get a good offer I'll probably just keep it.
