The RS4 starts about 2 car lengths behind the M3, but has to drive to the side not to run into it.

Once the RS4 gets passed the M3 it has no chance.

Note that the track isn't wet, just very foggy.

So the "lowly" Fuga (M45 for us blokes Stateside) finished only 7 seconds back of the M3. Not bad... not bad at all!

There was a lot of truth in the one guys comment: "So the RS 4 beats an 8 year old M3"... True, it will have it's work cut out for it when the new M3 comes out!

This is very interesting to watch, the M3 in the early stages of the race puts up a good showing and keeps in touch of the RS4 better than the 80hp it's actually down. But the real surprise is that the M3's tyres seem to go off first and this is were the RS4 really makes the big gains.

Another interesting thing worth noting is that on lap four you can see that the RS4 goes into the last corner way too fast and starts to understeer but the quattro system starts to shift the power and the driver is able to keep the power on and power through the corner.

Man when you watch that thing launch from a standing start it really can go.:king:

:cheers: RS4 Wins!!!!!! but for the new M3 dont know how would it be.... but the BMW Hartge H50 E90 V10 is 500 sth horse power and it takes 0-60 mph is 4.3 sec, dont know will the V8 M3 beat that time?? I saw the Audi magazine had rated the 0-60 mph on saloon is also 4.3 sec but for the convertible its 4.8 sec....
Y is there a difference? and will it still beat the E90 M3?
