In the US, the tt is considered a chick-car, meaning it appeals mostly to those of the feminine persuasion. How is the perception over in Euroland?

Butch men who wear salmon coloured sweaters over their shoulders and tied in a knot, sunglasses on top of their head and white pull-on shoes.:p

Only joking, I think the last one was a bit of a hair dresser's car, especially the open-top but this one like the SLK is now more of a driver's car and though still appealing to women it also a lot more appealing to men, because I like it and last time I checked my b#lls had dropped, so there.:thumb:

The addition of an S version and or a lightweight Clubsprot version would do wonders for the TT's image. That way it could cover all bases - male, female, fashion-conscious....

I really liked the original, but it did suffer from the image-conscious buyer syndrome. The new one however is not only a good looking car but also a v.good drive so hopefully its image will change for the better. :bow:
