i though we should collect a comprehensive list of differences between usa rs6's and those sold elsewhere. please contribute what you know:

my take:
1) usa: 18" wheels standard, row: 19"
2) usa: s6 front seats, row: rs6-specific recaros
3) usa: memory seats, row: none
4) usa: reversing mirror, row: none
5) usa: parktronic rear, row: parktronic front & rear
6) usa: modified tranny sw, row: standard
7) usa: dual xenon, row: single?

are these correct? any others that come to mind: rear seats?, nav?, speed limit?

battery is in the trunk for row
no rs6 logo floormats either afaik

with the lack of a tyre pressure system, and no spare wheel, is there a reduction in top speed coupled with a lower rated tyre specification?

Battery is in trunk both on row and usa. Except in row it is in the spare wheel well, while in usa is passenger side visible.

Spare donut: usa yep; row no;
Brake drilled rotors: usa yep; row optional;
Full screen Nav+: usa no; row yep; RS6+ comes with RNS-E (another dirty secret);
Black optics option: usa no; row yep;
Metal interior trim: usa no; row yep;
Silly airbag warning on visor: usa yep; row no;
On-Start: usa yep; row no;
Blind spot mirrors: usa no; row yep;

I thought 19" wheels were an option, not standard, in most of the row (except the UK) - any of our continental European friends know?

Also, add on:

stupid orange pastic inserts for blinkers in headlights and taillights - North America
clear blinkers - row

19" optional on rs6, stock on +, same for Brake drilled rotors

7) usa: dual xenon, row: single? - EU dual

this is bs - same problem ww. Sometimes I'm amazed with stupidity - total of 11 oil changes on 2 rs6 and parts department is fully capable to use 0W30 longlife oil instead of what the factory clearly states in the manual. This is not in US, gents, in EU, about 2 hrs drive from the factory - and official exclusive Audi/VW importer...
