I sat in the new s4 and the seats are amazing and far better than stock rs6 seats. I understand the euro rs6 does have the modern rs6 seats. What seats are the best and where can they be bought? Thanks for the help.

do you mean the rs4? that has different seats for the usa. the rs6 has the same seats in usa/euro/row

US RS6 has S6 seats, not Recarro's
rest of world RS6 has RS6 Recarro seats

You can get RS6 Recaros into the US. I got a set of used ones in good shape.

Are those the same seats that are in current S4s? I test drove an 06 S4 and the seats look exactly the same. Its no big deal if the RS6 badge is not there.

US RS6 has S6 seats, not Recarro's
rest of world RS6 has RS6 Recarro seats

i didn't know that. then why don't the usa cars have seat memory? the row cars don't because the seats are different...

ah, explains things. i miss that feature. the row seats are superb, but the lack of the memory function means that we don't seem to get reversing mirror either. do you have reverse dipping mirror?

We have mirror dip function when reversing - very handy.

it's a little project for me to see if i can retrofit. my s8, and the allroad have memory seats/reversing mirror and it's handy.

otoh, the lack of this means that swmbo don't get to drive ;-)

Those on ebay.de are from the S6. The RS6 Recaros have both 'Recaro' and 'RS6' logos.

I want to buy those seats and put them in my S6, so i sent an email to the seller but he doesn´t ship that to Portugal!!!:(:(:(

Where in Portugal are you? I'm from Azores (Sao Miguel), living in US.
Going there from Dec 21 to Jan 4! Can't wait, but will miss the RS6 which will stay in the US.

Thanks for all the info but are these the same recaros in the new s4's.

Also I am looking for a black set of recaro front seats with or without rs6 badging. Please let me know if any are available and really only need front seats.

Also the original seats make strange noises and sit up to high. Do the recaros sit any lower and do the seats make noise? Thanks for help, should have done this a long time ago.

no "popcorn" noise on original Recaro seats and, as a matter of fact, they sit so low that I almost had to get a booster chair when Ben was here ... :applause:

I've got a set of Slate grey buffalino leather recaro seats complete with front side airbags installed (be careful with other sets, airbags are typically not installed).
They are located in Texas. I can ship worldwide.
