Wanted to say good evening and ask a question, even though im sure there will be many more as time goes on.
Also, great friendly site, hope to be apart of the "owners club" soon :D
Took a 2003 RS6 out today from a main dealer (Surrey,UK) and really enjoyed the drive, it was for about 30 mins and had a selection of town roads, duel carrageways, twisties.
Great all round sports saloon, very impressed!
When i stopped to swap with my wife for her to have a go the car locked in the "park" setting.
Didn't matter what we did, couldn't select any other setting :stick:and couldn't remove the keys from the car.
To cut a long story i told the sales person to disconect the battery :mech: and that could reset it.
Sure enough it did, we then made a slow ride back to the showroom.
The question i have is this......
Has anyone had this problem before or do you think it was a rare one off?
