Hans,

Love the way it looks. One thing, when you get the time, please PS in some flared fenders as all RS cars have them and the stock fenders look overwhelmed by your huge air intakes. :)

Very, would be the answer if it has the 350~365hp talked about. For starters it will be a little lighter and being turboed, it should have at the very least the same amount of torque if not a little more and over a much wider rev range, so you can understand why some of us are a little bit skeptical about it ever making it to production.

If it did make it, what would the price be? If you look at the AMG range all of the cars roughly accelerate to within a few tenths of each other up to 100mph excluding the AMG65s. So maybe it's possibly to have a range of performance Audi to do the same.

There for it's more and more likely that the top of the range TT will have a max 300 hp engine to give the R8 the space for axample a ±360 hp 4.2 V8 FSI engine if needed.

Hans, it's only just over a month before we will know what the TT-S will be using with regards to engine choice and what power it will be kicking out. I still believe it will be the same engine as the S3 but with maybe 270~275hp, leaving room for a Club Sport version with no rear seats, cross brace, alloy doors, alloy boot lid and possibly 300+hp. The RS model in all but name. This is the talk at least that the R8 and TT because of their more sporty nature and appearance will not be given the RS name, this will be only for the A4/5 and 6 model range, only time will tell.

Audi is testing with two testmules and two engines in the new TT.
The test mules are Red and white, one have the 3.6 VR6 FSI in it and the other have a R4 2.0T engine in it.
The 2.0T can have up to max 272 hp and the 3.6 VR6 FSI can have 300+ hp.
The big question will be are these engines programed as replacements or extentions.
If the 3.6 is planed to replace the 3.2 the 2.0T can be the 2.0 Quattro extention of the TT range.

Interesting Hans, is there a possibly in the range for both of them?

Maybe is Audi going to do a re-think of it's engine choices and drop the 3.2L altogether and replace it with a 240hp 2.0TFSi from the Leon Cupra, that would give equal performance with the 3.2L because of the less weight, though in fairness it's delivery and noise wouldn't be as good. This would give a line-up of engine when the 1.8TFSi is introduced that would look like this.

1.8TFSi fwd (160hp) - 2.0TFSi fwd (200hp) - 2.0TFSi Quattro (240hp) - 2.0TFSi Quattro S/Line (275hp) and this would leave the way for a 3.6FSi Quattro TT-S (300hp), or could the last two be the other way round, 3.6FSi Quattro S/Line (275hp) and the 2.0TFSi Quattro TT-S (300hp).

One thing is for sure, if the 3.6FSi is going to replace the 3.2 than the power increase will be a lot smaller than the 50hp the R36's 300hp has. I reckon something like 265hp would be a more likely choice as anything more would make it command a lot more than the customary 2% that car manufacturers seem to charge when a replacement model is released.

If the power increase is that small Audi will not use the 3.6 VR6 FSI for it, but the 3.2 VR6 FSI with ±255-265 hp.
If the 3.6 VR6 FSI come availeble in the new TT it will have 300 hp.

Well then, I reckon it will be an addition to the range instead of a replacement.:brag:
