Powerless starts

I have an S6 Avant, and I don't know if anyone has experienced what I did the last couple of weeks. When sitting at a light, or stopping somewhere, and then trying to take off, basically, at times it feels like the car has only 4 cylinders, and has no power, unless you let off the gas, and then the power comes back.
No. I'm not trying to race anybody, or trying to do the two feet thing when taking off. It does not matter if it's cold or warm outside, it has happened in both occasions.

That has happened to me a couple of times in my A6 4.2 but If I let go of the gas and then press it again power comes back.

the only way to be sure is to pull the codes. easy if you have vagcom, otherwise take the car to the dealer. btw, with an electronic throttle touching the brake after the throttle will be interpreted as a desire for no brake and tis can cause symptoms similar to those you report.
