Many of us have 40K+ and our engines feel mint. Icon has @70K so I'd shoot him a PM...

You kidding me ?! the Rs6 engine will do twice that ! With ease, here in the uk we already have some cars over 100k - 120k miles.

I only got 36K miles on mine, and since birth, I've changed wheels (many times), brakes, interior, radio to RNS-E, etc... By the time it reaches 100K miles, I am really unsure what will be left stock. I know, I know...the oil dip stick!

My RS6 better make it to 100K miles, or I'll take a bat to it myself!

No Audi I have owned has gone less than 120K.

And 3 of the 4 have been turbo cars.

I will replace things like fuel filter, trans fluid, and the like that Audi omits from service regardless of the cost. Oil filter change ever 6 months, regardless of mileage. If you stay ahead of maintenance issues, over 100K miles should not be a problem. By then, you might have a dash bulb go out, or a heater blower motor, or a window lift switch go bad, but I am confident that I will have this car for at least 5 more years, and will reach a 6 figure mileage.

cam belt (+ rollers, idler) changed @45k km's and 3 years, instead of 60k km's apparently on instruction from audi. anyone else had this?

Torque converter went out, new radiator, few coil packs replaced, ALOT of spark plugs replaced (copper ones), 4 sets of front and rear brake/rotors, often frequently needed lubrication for the sunroof. Other than that, no problemo at 30k. =)

well, we have two rs6 (2004 march and +) - little longer story ... the first one had ALL DRC problems as you can find on this forum, some of them twice due to "intelligent" approach of the importer.... plus some other $*#% with squeeky seat and so on.

the + so far turned to be a no problem at 76k km (other then MUF - which btw was replaced by the dealer without ANY questions 2 days before warranty end based on my statement about somewhat sometimes weird throttle behaviour during visit..., and regular maintenance).

Brakes are about due - have Movit's waiting in the garage, already did that on first one last month and what a difference...

mtm chips also noticeably improve performance :0:
