I had a look at the new Aston Martin DB7 tonight.
There's a "handmade in England" under the bonnet, but I think somebody else made the side mirrors for them...

Good find Erik!
Not all the parts can be made by hand, such as the plastics. I believe the rest of the mirror is taken from the Madza parts bin.

That is ....amazing.
I think most Aston owners will be aware that there might be a few Ford/ Volvo parts 'hidden' in their car, but thats hilarious. :rotflmao:
By the way, what on earth made you look at the bottom of the mirror??
When you go look at a car...you REALLY do look at everything !!

Does Volvo only make the plastic, or do they use that part for their own cars?
Cause I can't think of a Volvo mirror in that shape.
