I live in the UK and have twisty roads. Previously to my current RS4 Avant I had a RS6 avant and these following comments apply to both vehicles.
The dip town lights are OK. But whilst the main beam have good spread the penetration of distance for the speed of the car on unknown roads is poor. Does any one have any knowledge of a modification to change the fog lamps to halogen or Xenon driving lamps and then just relay them through the main beam. My first problem is to find a sufficiently powerful driving lamp of the fog lamp diameter to fit into the air dam without modification, other wise I am into bodywork mods which I am less able to do myself.
Any ideas?
