In for the 36k service. I've had a solid red light for several months. Dealer has replaced battery and consulted the service bulletins, but the light remains red. Any help or recommendations?

Sorry, I gave up on having the "Man" monitoring me loooong ago. Mine has been red since a few months after I bought it, and I've never looked back. ;)

Over a year ago my dealer replaced the battery (twice) and also fixed the malfunctioning part of the Onstar unit that caused the batteries to prematurely drain. Light still green, ever since. (See my post in thread 'Finally got someone to "go off the DRC reservation".' )
That said, I never use it, though I guess it's nice to know that someone remotely might notice if I ever have a calamity and the airbag inflates, which Onstar is supposed to report automatically to 911 so long as the subscription is paid.;)
