Here are a couple of shots one lucky individual took of the R8 on a random trip. BTW, the side profile of the car looks BRUTAL

Can't believe someone actually thought it was the new Audi TT. That is just funny.

I hope Audi introduces the R8 with a presentation similar to what they did with the A6 and the R10. (The R10 introduction video was one of the best I have ever seen for an automobile).

I'm not sure I like the number plate in the middle of the grille. I hope they paint the section it's on black to match the rest. Qisha, has the V10 been given the green light yet or is it only the V8 at launch with the V10 to follow shortly there after.

Yes, the V10 will be avail. directly from the start. As said in the other thread, my "source" is extremly accurate. I am sure most people will go for the V10 anyway...its just the engine this car is made for :)
I've kinda placed a preorder on one....if i am lucky i'll be able to test one before they go public at showrooms.

though my inability to afford the V10 would make me sad....

That would be nice if both were available at the same time, however I have a strange feeling that the V10 will come later on... I am making this assumption on what I saw happen with the A3 and the forthcoming TT.

I cant wait!!!! :dig:
