Can't wait for the A5 to come out...its' what a lot of Audi fans have been waiting for. Lets just hope it meets our high expectations!:bow:

100% wright, Audi has to make this and something bigger, like Mercedes CL or Bentley CGT, that is what I want to see all my life...

Guys, I'm a bit confused, is the A5 based on the up and coming A4 chassis or as Autoexpress says more current A6 than next A4?

They are talking that it will possibly get the v10 which would lead me to believe the A6 will be the model it's based on, if this is correct.

The A6 based coupe (or coupe limousin like Merc's CLS:confused: ) will named as A7, the A5 will be A4 based.I think this is the best way that Audi could do, because they need both cars, the A5 against CLK and 3 series coupe and the A7 against SL and 6 series.

It's a new modular chassis that shares component sets from A4 on up to A8. So the lines are blurring.... It's not necessarily B8 in the strictest sense, just like the new Passat shares with the Golf, but is much bigger.
