if i didn't love the R8 so much i'd have a 997.2 PDK or even a turbo S in the garage already (PDK only because it would be a daily driver since the R8 can't be- i could get away with a "generic" porsche parked at my office vs the R8 which is just way too exotic and attention grabbing).

I find this new C GTS particularly good looking.
Probably the last 997 Carrera model before 998.
Yes, this is a good value swan song model before the all new gen 991 next year. However, based what I have seen so far, I will seriously consider getting one with PDK and Sports Chrono. It looks stunning in white and is very probably a really sweet ride if you remember to avoid the further 10mm lower chrashy sports suspension but remember to go for the LSD
