Bingo. 140+bhp/L is a host of power. Some of the 4.2L beasts on this board are pushing that power with a high boost tune and until you do more engine/tranny mods with cams, turbos, etc, you simply won't get that much more. If I was to read anything in to what they are claiming, it's the GmbH group is stepping it up a notch with tuning that we already know can be extracted from the C5 platform and putting it in from the get go on the next C7 platform or whatever they will call it. Still need a strong transmission behind it all. Escapes me why the mentality to use an automatic slushbox behind so much power goes on. At least Cadillac gives you the option of auto/6spd. Audi has a good 6spd in their RS4. Why not expand on that and put one in the RS6? I'm pretty certain the multitude of RS6 owners out there would prefer to have the manual vs. the auto.Originally Posted by bmwade
