The photo on mag is ugly.
But I think A6 will be really progressive in design as it always been. In 1997 it was kind of shock, but we got used to it and now think it's great. It even now doesn't look any kind of old. in 2004 it was the first car that got singleframe from the beginning (only A8 W12 was before it) and also rather progressive.
Can't wait the new one!
Soapbar. Its obvious that they dont have clue about what it will look like, they just make something up.

Why 2013...?
I expect it on Geneve or IAA '11...!
Should definitely be here sooner than 2013.
2011 sounds reasonable.
I doubt this how the new A6 will look. It should be the most aggressive of the Audi big sedan line up. Audi needs to concentrate on its big sedans now that it has done the A1.

come on people. A7 needs to be launched first (Sept 2010 Paris). then the new A6. further- we havent seen test mules out much at all. and facelift was just a year ago. i predict geneva 2011at the earliest for late 2011 market launch as a 2012 MY car.
Past- A4, TT, S4
Present- R8 V10
Rumors are increasing that we actually will see the new A6 C7 this year. Woulb be a short 6 to 6,5 year lifespan
Maybe something similar to the A8 introduction:

Forgetting the A8, Audi has three new models to release - the RS5, the A6 and the A7/S7. If I were a betting man, I would guess that the we will see a new A6 by the end of the first quarter 2011, the RS5 by summer 2011 and the A7 beginning 3rd quarter 2011. I also doubt Audi will do what was done with the A5, that is release the S5 and the A5 at the same time. Especially with regards to the US market and Audi wanting to expand volume, the A6 is more of a breadwinner...no disrespect to the RS6 fans wanting a replacement, albeit the RS5, nor those wanting an alternative to the Mercedes CLS - the A7.
Not too shabby of a rear view... I'll wait till the actual to see what happens.
