From what I heard, piano black interior is very hard to keep shiny, needs polishing frequently, and is available on the A3...
So I'd take CF any day...waaaayyyy cooler...
A few pics of a R8 interior with piano black inlays:
Personally, I would choose the Carbon Sigma inlays. They seem to go better with the R8's interior than the Piano Black inlays, though the PB trim also looks good.
Lmg- thanks so much for the pictures. They are great. I think I may lean toward the CF. I had wanted to try something unique, but it looks like it might be a hassle indeed.

Hmm... Pics above are from R8 intro in 2007... Piano Black inlays are actually totally different positioned then on this pics. Audi decided that Piano Black do not belong on monoposto for example.
Here are recent pics of Piano Black inlays on R8 V10
As you can see Piano Black inlays are located on Navi Surroundings, center console and doors.
Carbon Sigma is included on Monoposto but, NOT on Navi surroundings.

Thanks for the PDF and for clearing this up, Kresof1.

CF is nice for the outside, on the inside it's kitsch.
There are pretenders among us.....
Geniuses with the ability to become anyone they want to be.....
I still think C is the way to go. Will be perfect with the outside.
