Ricky, the car is definetly faster. One of my business partners has a yellow one, and he is an excellent driver. It pulls so hard, by 120 he has more than 5 car lengths on the RS6. The only problem is keeping the rear end down, it has a tendency to break loose in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, without hesitation. Just realize that it lacks quattro (something your gallardo and RS6 have), and with that much torque watch out. He nailed it once coming out of his driveway, put it sideways and wrecked the right front and the left rear on his parked truck.

    Ricky,
Congrats on the new ride, looks sweet and hot.
Saw one today on the road definately looks menacing, I egged him on but he wouldnt nail it, maybe not broken in yet.

I appreciate all the compliments, Thx..

The car does feel pretty strong and sounds great @ 4000rpms, which is 500rpms less than what the manual says to do for the 1st 500 miles. I haven't gone over that and can't wait to do so>>

Congratulations.......I've had two vettes so you know that I'm a fan.

Regarding what Noushy said......that's good advice. Vettes are notorious for whale taling......especially when it's moist/wet.

And I thought I drove around confident in the beast.......just look out for the Enzos, GT's, S65s, and ... and the motorcycles I guess

You might want to look at SSR wheels. Their competition wheels are light and strong. For a larger 3-piece wheel (not the lightest) that would look especially good on your Z06, check out:

And congrats on your newest purchase. Fabulous car, and it looks really sweet in black.

    Very nice Ricky,
Love the photos. I need a Hi-Res of the Lambo Z06 head on and nose to nose!!!
You need Corsa Exhaust first thing!
Oh and hey when you are ready I will bring the Caddy down and we can take them to the track! Then I will drive the Lambo for you... Oh hey Chuck Mallett is waiting to hear from you... 800 hp 500ci !!!
    Adios,

    Nice ride!

So, how is the quality of the interior and the transmission? Any thoughts yet?

Thinking of goning the "shortway" and buy a new Vette instead of a Lambo or a Ferrari...will I get disappointed?!

quality of the interior is what it is.(6 out of 10)
can't judge transmission yet. 250 miles isn't enough, but good so far.

I really can't try to pursade you in any way when it comes to a purchase of that magnitude. ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, etc....
Will you be disappointed? I don't know, because I don't know what's your criteria.. Am I disappointed so far?, No! I'm very happy and anxious to get out of this "break in" period so I can get the car to the track and begin to learn what it can and can't do..

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do...

    Congrats

    Holy Black BatMobile!!!!

I thought you were leaning towards another raging bull! I guess you chose one with US credentials. Way to go. Can't wait to check it out.
I'll be down there in November. Will ping you as the date gets closer, however it may be the week of Thanksgiving. Maybe we can hook up on Tuesday, Nov 21 or thereabouts. Don't want to get too close to turkey day.

    Congrats.
