Mov'it Summer - Red is in

I just picked up the car from my dealer, as they were kind enough to do the work for me. Either I work on the RS6, or most likely the dealer will. I know they can be a bit overpriced, however I'd rather give them the biz as they have been great to me.

I had to drive the car home with all the stock parts in the trunk, so have not yet had the chance to play with her much. Washed her and took some quick shots as seen below.

First impressions: impressive and great looking!

More updates to come on this thread soon.

I have to observe the break-in period of at least 1200 miles. I've been following Mov'it recommendations to the 'T', including the replacement of the 4 wheel bearings. I want to make sure to enjoy it to it's optimal testing.

    Your car looks absolutely stunning!

I really like the wheels. And the brakes make it even more 'serious'.

    Hope you enjoy the upgrade!

The car and the new brakes look great!

Those are interesting break-in instructions - why 1200 miles and why new wheel bearings? I thought a few good heat cycles/bedding-in runs would do the job?

The General Information white paper from Mov'it mentions 300-600 miles break in period. The bleeding process is on going and has been done.

I can't remember the information about the wheel bearings exactly, I just remember reading about it, and order them.
For cars that have been in use for quite sometime, if there is too much play on the wheel bearings, it can cause extra unwanted rotor mobility or something like that. I'll post it once I find it.

On a side note, no squealing yet!
