    FS: Mugello Blue Beast

    Hey, guys.

I still have the Beast and have just dropped the price to $54,500. Car has lived a sheltered life (always garaged, no winter driving, no kids, no smoking, no track, etc.) is in great shape, 39,900 miles with Audi's best extended warranty. PM me for additional info or I'll post it here if there's interest.

That's a great price Finnus! I can't believe you still have the car!

Its too bad I didn't know about your beast before buying ours... ...sounds like someone could have a lot a fun at a fair price!

Might consider listing it on eBay - not expecting it to sell there, but the listing will get a lot of exposure and maybe some private offers.

    Or...we found ours on AutoTrader.com

    Good luck!

    Ben,

Yes & still enjoying the Beast!

    CC,

I think its a pretty fair price. It's currently on ebay, autotrader and dupont registry.

just checked out the Autotrader ad - looks great to me! And yes, the price is quite reasonable - I'm surprised you haven't had more action on it.

When I went to register ours, the state (Md) thought our car was worth 2k more than we paid. Supposedly, they use NADA. So I'm wondering what $ you would get by selling it to a dealer or carmax type.

I'm sure there's a buyer for it, who just hasn't discovered it yet!

    CC,

That's what I thought, but I appreciate the 3rd party opinion. I guess it's just a waiting game now.

It's pain in the ass game now, just wait for the people to call and offer $15k below asking like they did when I sold the Porsche.

Maybe hype of just-introduced RS4 cutting into interest in RS6 here? Timing might be better when S6 + S8 get officially introduced here (together with sticker shock), and the newness of the RS4 has warn off.

I think that's part of it, and also that your looking at a very limited market in these high dollar specialty sports sedans. It took 4 months to sell my 993 and even then I finally took less than what I wanted for the car. Not a ton, but not asking either.
