This journey started from Sweden with a flight down to RUF in southern Germany to drive a 996C4 Kompressor back home.
Once at RUF I had the opportunity to test two other remarkable vehicles. It's a tough job but someon's gotta do it

RUF R Kompressor, based on the Porsche 997 Carrera S. 435 hp..and 0-200 km/h in 13.5 seconods.

RUF Cayman under development...this car has the most direct steering I've ever experienced! (yes, it's snowing!)

Now to the rest of the story...

Let me start by saying: This Audi RS4 is NOT white. The color is "Suzuka Grey Pearl Effect." This is a special paint supplied by quattro GmbH, at roughly 2.500 Euros extra.

The M5 has undergone a major facelift and changeover at Hartge. To the better if you ask me, the car felt very good on the road.
The M5 has "no limits" so it's able to go all the way up to maximum speed. As you can see it was pouring so there was no chance of testing this.

I don't have the full specification of what's changed in the M5, but I hope to get it soon.

The RS4 is stock except for Abt de-limiter.
The M5 had about 35000 km and the Rs4 about 2500 km.

We did some tests of the acceleration (80 km/h and up) that I hope to bring online soon. Conclusion: The M5 is faster, but when I gave the RS4 a second ahead it felt like ages before I caught up.

Audi RS4 and BMW M5.

Face off

Two very powerful cars face to face. I wonder what they are saying to each other?

RS4 label and Hartge label. Nothe the Hartge exhaust

Far better looks than a stock M5

Audi RS4, M5 Hartge and a Porsche 996 C4 Convertible.

Don't underestimate the Porsche... This one comes with a RUF Kompressor and at least 410 horses.

The grill is black on black

This RS4 is derestricted by Abt. Warranty still intact.

Interior of the Audi RS4. Special order...second to none!

Would you like to have this as your working place?

These seats are very comfortable, and the support is great.

M5 Power!
