Yes...the water pump and thermostat replaced. Waterpump a recall....
Most 2010 models had a plastic water pump. Sometime in May 2010, the pump was updated to a better quality aluminum unit. Audi of America did not issue a recall for the pump. Instead, it was a service campaign, which means that they'll fix whenever the car fails or comes in for service.
In addition, there was a recall issued sometime in April for the thermostat. This was not associated with the bad water pump, however. My car is a 2010 which was built in May of 2010. My water pump is fine, but I did get the recall for the thermostat.
