    Fast R32

I went to my friends place,to see how his RS6 is doing.I parked my car and saw a R32...he went to HGP tuning, added a new turbo GarrettT3[I think] and exhaust, newest Haldex and DSG he has now 480bhp.RS4 brakes too...

Do you know if there are more R32 with so much bhp?

I didn't collect everything he said because I went a little bit emotional...what a car...when there is time I can take some pictures

    0-100km/u in 3,2sec...

    Hey Rudi,

    RS4 (b5) B&B tuned......

How can a single turbo be faster than the bi-turbo

Stage 3 bi-turbo 0-100km/h 3,6, so how can that one go from 0-100 in 3,2

    Hey Rudi,

Where was this car? At the VR6 specialist?

An R32 with a Turbo is a beautiful car, only everything has to be adjusted b/c it's only made for 240hp...

The car will be capable of doing it, but for how long??
    That's the big question....

Not to worry bomber. HGP reïnforces everything that needs it. They even tested the DSG clutch on a BiTurbo, at the request of Volkswagen themselves. They also offer a warrenty.

They've tested the 3.6l VR6, but b/c that engine has a cast crankshaft instead of a forged, it was not able to handle the turbos. So they won't be making R36 Turbos, unless they change the crankshaft to a forged one, which will cost a lot.
This to show their dedication to reliability.

Motortrend managed 3.2s to 100km/h with the BiTurbo HPA R32, on Dunlop race tryes. That's probably where he's getting the number from.

I was at Nardo with MTM when HGP came with a 558hp R32. VMax was 324 km/h. And trust me from outside, this is a fast R32 ! ! ! !

    Cheers from Paris,

    Okay that's reassuring to hear.

I have thought about trading my RS in to buy one of those...

On the other hand,it's not an RS4...

I like the RS4 also more, but I was excited because I don't see those fast cars every day.As car enthusiast I would like to share it with you guys, that's all, knowing that there are more faster cars then this.I have only 330bhp,but I'm happy with it...

He promised me a ride and to drive a few miles also, but he is very busy,so it might take a long time...still don't know the story about the 3.2 sec and 1 Garrett turbo though...

as far as i know hgp uses the brakes of the sl65 amg for the hgp R32 turbo.
soon there will be a bi-turbo engine with at least 530hp.
´looking forward to it. might be an option for me!

it's so tempting to me, I am considering to buy a hot hatch for my wife, so it must be not a manual tranny
I myself prefer AWD car, so GTI & A3 2.0T were out. What else? the new S3, sorry, no DSG......or TT 2.0T .....same situation as A3. TT 3.2Q, too expensive, with those mods, I will probably go Porsche Caymann.
R32, DSG with 4 motion, right on the target, but 250hp na is not that exciting, my friend's GTI (mod to MTM stage III, 315hp) kicked stock Golf V R32's ass so badly, his GTI is FASTER than stock E46 M3.

my fear is drivibility of HGP/HPA turboed R32? My wife will drive it everyday, (of course I want to hammer it sometime). Can DSG handle 400+hp? Do they develop a mature mapping for the hardware? Any experience or suggestion of HGP/HPA tunned Golf V R32? I heard some roumor that Golf IV R32 with HGP has durability problem.
