I don't think bobski posted this so I'll add it to the list, 904880, I believe the exterior is the "Ebony Pearl Effect" (looks more like a metallic charcoal), interior is black with wood grain. DRC has been replaced, and as well known to the forum the transmission was replaced at Audi Neckarsulm. It has the sound enhancing exhaust with the black tips. It is completely stock and will remain that way. Currently has 60000 miles and will see 25000 miles a year as my daily driver. My insurance agent tells me that a $3700.00 charge shows up on a car check. I am owner number 4.

I bought it in September 2011 from copart for $13,500 was hit in the rear right and only had 58k miles..... Replaced the complete right rear suspension assy along with wheel and all four rotors and pads from dealer. Spent around $9000 in parts( that's after my 25% discount).... No idea exactly how much in labor as I owned a collision shop. Should have joined the rs6 club back then to have known better to replace the drc and some other tasteful mods instead of dumping money at the dealer .... No regrets though it was a major addition to the fleet. And after 2 years and 11k miles of pure joy I look forward to many more. 3k of the 11k miles were from the best road trip ever from Sanfrancisco to Detroit in 10 days.

but the roads in Michigan are so bad that i am scared to drive it unless I am going to Canada which is once a month..... I am considering getting higher profile tires like 245/45/18's or even 255/45/18 to compensate for the shit roads. Suggestions regarding the tires are much appreciated.

I just watched 905588 go through a auto auction in Minneapolis. It was black with a black interior.

I just watched another one 905787 Silver with grey interior with 47k miles go through a auto auction in San Francisco. It sold for $24,500.

Is there a lists that shows all of the vin's? I just watched another one 904641 black with black interior with 40k miles sell at the auction in Riverside, Ca. for $25,750. Also I just purchased some parts from the local Audi dealer and when I give them the vin it shows up in their system as a 2004 model but it is a 2003. Is this common or not with other members?

My car is a 2003 US model and the vin and title clearly state that. Before me my car was up in Utah with the first owner. I had to take the parts back to Audi that I had ordered because they fit a 2004 model. Could be the Audi parts guy wasn't very smart also.

IIRC, the production run of C5 RS6 slated for the US started in June/July and ended in November 2003 (some of the original owners can attest to the delivery dates or search/read thru some of the REALLY old threads) and then there is the travel time to the US.
JSRS6's car has a VIN of 2004 and there have been some others also.
