IMO RS6.com header should be left top and the background more Audi RS related.

I'm a little perplexed. RS6's officially cannot go above 250km/h, even though Audi actually lets them go a little higher. Anyone with a little car knowledge will know this, so it would be a little tacky say infer something that the forum's namesake can't achieve. If you're gonna do that, MAKE SURE the climbing speedometer gets to above 300km/h.
I think the lights in the background should be from an RS6. That's definitely still what this forum focuses on.
I also think the current RS6 logo is distinctive, while that one seems...well...indistinct. Maybe an update of the current one, with the same or similar easily recognizable font?

Looking back at the posted pic, I agree with rks838. These would be two changes that would better the main page. Otherwise, keep it the same.

OK, sorry to be brutally honest, but I think "beyond 300 km/h there are no friends" is pretty cheesy. I like the speedometer idea. How about the actual, RS logo as a background on the left side of the banner (or will that be a copyright infringement?)

Or the text could be "RS6"(like the logo on our trunklids) .com

Yes I like it but agree with some that the lights should be from a RS6, maybe from the left angle and get the logo somehow, but you probably cany show that due to legal issues and all. Otherwise looking good Erik.

We can't use any of the Audi copyright material like logos etc.

Regarding pics - remember that a design can look awfully old in 2 years time once something new arrives. Think the Audi single frame grill vs. the old ones for example.

Actually RS6.com is not all about the Audi RS6, it's all Audi/VAG top-of-the-line models as well as other high performance cars.
Remember the Audi RS4, Audi S8, S6, R9 etc. just to be released.

Here's a fresh one, made by the designer yesterday evening.

Once we settle the design it will be animated.

BUT - As I said the current RS6 is no longer in production and we have to plan the webpage for year's to come. Once it's set it will be there for at least a year or two. And remember the other RS cars. R9. 250 km/h only? Don't think so. The 250 km/h limit won't exist in the future. MB, BMW kind of followed when the RS6 Plus went up to 280 km/h.
