Bentley. I'm sure the Jag might be a tad more fun on a back road, but let's not kid ourselves. You are not buying either of those two cars for Rice Rocket "tearing it up action!"Originally posted by 8:05 RS6

You're going to get one for other reasons.

Both are too much poser for my liking but if a kitten was killed if I didn't choose one, I'd say Bentley.
Not my type of car, but the Bentley is my choice!
None.
I'd take a F430 Spider since it probably is in the same price range as the Continental.

2 jags please, one for cruising one gutted-lightweight-sport-suspension-free-breathing-exhaust-rollcaged for fun... ;-)
if you have a rotten, unloved Audi RS2 or a Mazda 323 GT-R - drop me a line :)
Jaguar once made a stripped out roll caged manual g'boxed XKR some years ago just to show off how much of a drivers can they can actually produce, never made it to production though.Originally posted by oswald

Clarkson tested it in one of his videos.
if it is l ike the old days (80's) I'd agree, you will need two jags - but for different reason - one for driving and one for spare parts ..Originally posted by oswald

Bentley, looks hot from that direction. Not that I'll ever be able to afford one
What about the DB9 Volante?
While these are all desirable cars for sure, but I personally think it lacks the prestige and uniqueness it once had in the previous generations.
Conti Gt's are in my opinion common as muck and vulgar. Nothing like the class of some other bentleys.
Just look at the number of footballers who own one.
The Jag isnt so bad, still find it a bit boring though. I hope they are actually allowed to do genuinely hot version. Its a crying shame that cars like the new XJ (a very hi-tech and well engineered car) have been given horrible frumpy retro styling.
I think the Aston is far more desirable than both.
